2010-09-28 Seimas Audit Committee Field Session will be Held at Ignalina NPP
A field session of Seimas Audit Committee will be held at the State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) on 29 September. The leadership of SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant as well as the representatives of the Prime Ministers Office, of the Ministry of Energy and the National Audit Office of Lithuania will also participate in the meeting, where the implementation of recommendations of State Audit Report "Use of Funds for Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant Closure" dated 20 November 2009 will be provided. During the meeting the head of INPP Osvaldas Ciuksys will present the implementation of Ignalina NPP decommissioning projects.
Members of the Audit Committee and other participants of the meeting will visit facilities mentioned in the report: B1 (Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility) and B2/3/4 (New Solid Waste Management and Storage Facilities).
