2012-01-20 Ignalina NPP Has Refunded 4 Million Litas to National Decommissioning Fund
In 2011, State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) saved 4 million litas (4 037 883, 44 LTL) of more than 27 million litas (27 594783 LTL) of Ignalina NPP National Decommissioning Fund that were allocated for the enterprise‘s activity in 2011. The saved money has been returned to the Fund. Read more

Lately particular statements and comments have appeared in public space on the quality and safety of State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant's (INPP) projects being implemented. We would like to bring in mind that last year the enterprise's management already took series of measures to change the situation after analyzing and evaluating unsatisfactory situation of project B1 (Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility) implementation. 2012-01-09 VATESI Has Submitted National Final Report on „Stress Tests“ to European Commission
State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate (VATESI) has worked out national final report of Lithuania on „Stress Tests“ which was submitted to European Commission on 29 December 2011. The national report has been prepared in accordance with State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant's (INPP) report on accomplished "Stress Tests" which was submitted to VATESI on 25 October 2011 and in accordance with provided by INPP plan of measures for implementation of report recommendations which was submitted on 21 December 2011.
