2011-10-26 INPP Was Allowed to Commence Implementation of Two Decommissioning Projects
On 19 October 2011 the conditions of Ignalina nuclear power plant‘s (INPP) Unit 1 decommissioning license were changed by the order of Head of State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate. The modification of license conditions allows the enterprise to commence INPP Unit 1 Turbine Hall equipment and Boiler House equipment dismantling and decontamination (projects B9/1 and B9/5).
