INPP establishes new Board of Directors

In accordance with the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania No 1-78 of 22 April 2024 "On the appointment of the members of the Board of the State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant", the Board of the State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant was appointed, which consists of the following members.

Mr Laimonas Belickas - Independent Member of the Board;

Mrs Jurgita Radzevičė - Independent Member of the Board;

Mr Karolis Sankovski - Independent Member of the Board;

Mrs Patricija Ceiko - Member of the Board - civil servant.

One employee representative has yet to be appointed to the full Board.

The Articles of Association of the State Enterprise INPP provide that the Independent Member of the Board determines the structure of the enterprise, approves the rules of remuneration and promotion of the employees of the enterprise, approves the draft description of the policy of managing the financial resources of the enterprise, approves the tariffs for the products and services of the enterprise, analyse and evaluate the enterprise's strategies, the draft of the enterprise's performance indicators, the draft of the enterprise's annual income and expenditure estimates, the draft of the annual asset acquisition and borrowing plan, which shall be submitted to the Ministry of Energy, together with its feedback and proposals thereon, except in cases when the tariffs are determined by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania or another authority established by law;  Analyse and evaluate the information on the implementation of the enterprise's performance strategy, indicators and the organisation of the enterprise's activities submitted to the Ministry of Energy, together with its feedback and proposals thereon; analyse and evaluate the set of financial statements of the enterprise for the financial year under review, and perform other relevant transactional and proposal functions.

The members of the Board undertake to perform their duties properly, to deal efficiently and objectively with all matters assigned to the Board and to observe the highest standards of professionalism and transparency. The Members of the Board shall ensure that the functions of the Board are carried out without interruption in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and the Statutes of the Enterprise.

The term of office of the Board members is 4 years, i.e. until 22 April 2028 (inclusive).

The competence, appointment, and dismissal of the Board of the INPP are governed by the Statutes of the INPP.
