The enterprise’s goal is to become an expert on safe and efficient nuclear facility decommissioning.

During the 26 years of operation Ignalina NPP has produced 307, 9 billion kWh of electricity: Unit 1 – 136, 9 billion kWh and Unit 2 – 170, 2 billion kWh. The total amount of electricity sold is 279, 8 billion kWh.

The most important future work is the dismantling of the two world‘s most powerful RBMK reactors. These unique and technologically extremely complex works, which do not have analogues, have not been performed in any country so far.

The rate of dismantling works constantly accelerates after the shut-down of Ignalina NPP. The total amount of dismantled equipment in 2021 was 3429 tons, the volume of dismantled reinforced concrete - 4200 tons.
