2013-05-20 The Open Meeting of Energy Commission of the Seimas Was Held at Ignalina NPP
The open meeting of Energy Commission of the Seimas was held at SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) on 17 of May, 2013. The members of Energy Commission, the representatives of Ministry of Energy, State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate and Ignalina NPP participated in the meeting. The process of implementation of INPP decommissioning projects was presented and INPP decommissioning financing in the EU 2014-2020 financial perspective was discussed during the meeting. Read more

oN 24-25 april the Meetings of Ignalina Programme Monitoring Committee were held at the State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP). 2013-04-11 Perspectives of B1 Project Have Been Discussed in Brussels
On 10 of April representatives of SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) met the Director of the European Commission Energy Directorate Nuclear Energy Department Peter Faross. Representatives of the European bank of reconstruction and development and the contractor of the B1 project (Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility) also participated in the meeting. Current viewpoints concerning possible further decisions and project implementation perspectives were discussed during the meeting. Read more

2013-03-27 The Meeting of INPP Director General and Representative of European Commission Was Held
On 26 of March the Director General of SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) Darius Janulevičius met the Director of the European Commission (EC) Energy Directorate Nuclear Energy Department Peter Faross. During the meeting the head of the enterprise informed that INPP took all possible measures to renew the dialog between the Ignalina NPP, B1 (Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility) project implementing consortium member GNS and experts, in order to receive the conclusions on suitability of produced containers as soon as possible and also to take decisions on further progress in project implementation.
