On the procurement of the B25-2 project

March 28, State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) announces the Construction of the INPP Near Surface Repository for Low- and Intermediate-Level Short-Lived Radioactive Waste (construction stages I/A, II/A) and design, construction and connection of the external rainwater drainage networks to the INPP infrastructure.

By the deadline for submission of bids, that is by June 30 this time, 3 bids from suppliers had been received. After evaluating the tenders, the Public Procurement Commission of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant found that all the tenders exceeded the amount of funds allocated for the procurement. Considering, that paragraph 1 section 5 of Article 45, of the Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Lithuania is not met, all bids from suppliers must be rejected. The procurement procedure will be completed after the 10-day appeal period, after which the information on the completed procurement will be published in the central public procurement information system.

We would like to inform you that INPP, having reviewed and assessed the circumstances of the procurement, plans to announce a new public procurement of works in the near future.

Project B25-2 is funded by the European Union Ignalina Program.
