Steam and condensate feeding circuit

From each separator drum steam is conveyed to turbines along two steam headers. The steam headers are arranged such that to ensure the connection of each separator drum to two turbines. A steam discharge system is provided to direct excess steam to the condensers of the turbines or the pressure suppression pool of the accident confinement system to prevent the plant and steam header from overpressure. In the condensers of the turbines the steam condensate that has formed is chemically treated with ion exchange filters, preheated in regenerating reheaters, deaerated, and after additional treatment with mechanical filters returned to the separator drums of the MCC along feedwater pipes.
